The Angolan women organisations (OMA) of Benguela province attended a retreat at catumbela. The purpose of the meeting is the preparation of the African Women’s day, that takes place on 31st July.
Under the theme “African woman, it is us“, to mark the African women’s day, the retreat is taking place in the municipality of catumbela.
More than 300 women of the Angolan women’s organisation are represented by the 10 municipalities of Benguela province.
Today was marked by an agenda full of lectures, and the following topics were discussed:
Ethics and good manners
Parent responsibility in the family
MPLA (The People’s Movement for the Liberation of Angola) and the new challenges
Leadership.
Comrade Rui Falcão visited Oma’s camp at catumbela




Comrade Rui Luís Falcão Pinto De Andrade, member of the political bureau of the central committee of the ilo and first provincial secretary of the Benguela party, visited, this Saturday, 27.07.2019, the camp of the Aom, which has been running 25th July 2019, at Luongo, municipality of the gamma, municipality of catumbela..
At the camp the first secretary was informed about the participation of 800 women from the municipal committees of Aom in the various activities scheduled.
Aom’s Provincial Executive Secretary Maria da graça antónio explained that the camp is dealing with several topics such as etica, leadership, VAT, among other important topics for the empowerment and development of Angolan women.
The Women’s camp, organised by the provincial executive secretariat of Aom, falls within the framework of the African women’s day , to be celebrated on July 31th.












The Women Organisation continues to mobilise women around Angola to champion the African Woman day.
