The 127th Adwa victory celebration was been celebrated in Gambela region with the theme “unity, heroism and perseverance”.
Gambela region president and peace bureau head Mr. Chenkot Chot said the victory of Adwa is a victory for Ethiopia and for all Africans and oppressed people.
This victory in 1888 E.C. He said that it is our proud history that is recorded by the strong struggle and sacrifice of our motherland.
The victory is a time where Ethiopians were defeated by temporary problems and hardship, not surrendering and giving up, but facing problems head on neck and neck, and being a witness to the world.

The regional culture and tourism bureau vice manager Mr. Abula Ubong said that the victory of Adwa stopped the oppression, abuse and injustice that whites have done to black people.
The Adwa victory celebration is a victory that all Ethiopians got by coming together from all parts of the country because of their love for their country.
Mr. Abula explained that Adwa is a lesson for black people across the African continent.
The current generation has also said that it is necessary to celebrate this victory day by supporting and cooperating with the country that our forefathers sacrificed for, by working with the spirit and spirit that we inherited from our forefathers, by working hard to protect the peace and security of the country and play a role in the development sector.
Some of the people who attended the holiday said that just like our fathers and mothers sacrificed their lives to give us a respected country, the current generation should strengthen its unity and build a prosperous Ethiopia.
